Atletico Madrid came from a goal down to beat Espanyol 2-1 in an entertaining LaLiga clash played on Sunday evening.
Thomas Lemar scored in the 99th minute to ensure Diego Simeone returned to the capital with maximum points in dramatic fashion.
Yannick Carrasco levelled for the visitors when it all seemed to be heading south for the LaLiga defending champions after De Tomas had given the hosts the lead just before the break.

The hosts could have however taken the lead within the opening few minutes but Atletico's defense stood firm, repelling attack after attack.
The returning Antoine Greizmann lasted 58 minutes before he was replaced by Joao Felix after 58 minutes.
This was Atelti's third win in four games as they look to defend the crown.
