The supposed disclosures about Lionel Messi's contract at Paris Saint-Germain, according to sporting director Leonardo, are "absolutely incorrect."
The Argentine superstar is set to earn £94 million over three years at Parc des Princes, according to French publication L'Equipe.
Leonardo, on the other hand, pounced on the opportunity to answer quickly, accusing the outlet of "lack of respect."
He said: "We can't accept this. This is unacceptable. This is completely false. I wanted to tell you that.
"I think it's a lack of respect and we didn't like it. I don't understand the timing. This is really very far from the truth, on the duration and the numbers.
"There are confidentiality clauses, but I can say that this is not the truth. The duration of the contract is two years. It's wrong, it's not that, and we didn't like it."
PSG defeated Lyon 2-1 in Ligue 1 on Sunday, with Messi making his home debut.
