Brazilian left-back Alex Telles is hoping that he can be handed a chance when Manchester United takes on West Ham in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night.
Telles got injured in the preseason after hoping to break into United's first team this season and after recovering from his injuries, he is expected to slot at left-back as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer rotates his side for the game.
"I feel good. Things happen in football. I wasn't very happy about that (the injury) but I took advantage of the situation by working harder. I feel better than before, I feel better prepared and stronger, physically and mentally. I'm much better and I'm thrilled to be back," Telles is quoted by the club's website.
"Whenever I get the chance to play, I'll give everything for Manchester United to win the lot. Preparations will be the same. It's in front of our home fans at Old Trafford but I think the game will be very tough. It'll be a difficult match but we're ready.
"After the game at West Ham, I feel we're better prepared and, of course, we want to win and play as well as we can to get through."
