Paris Saint-Germain head coach Mauricio Pochettino has said Lionel Messi needs time to adjust to life in Paris after joining the club on a two-year deal from Barcelona.
Messi, who has yet to score for PSG in three appearances, has missed the French club’s last two games but returned to training on Monday.
"He is in a very good way," said Pochettino. "I think he will be in the squad tomorrow, but I still haven't decided on the starting XI.
"He did 20 years in Barcelona, it's normal he felt at home there and here, everything is new for him. He did not arrive a long time ago.”
The Argentine has been handed a start against City and will play alongside Kylian Mbappe and Neymar.
