Cristiano Ronaldo was a happy man after helping Manchester United come from a goal down to beat Villarreal on Wednesday night.
It was sweet revenge for United following their last season's Europa League final loss to the same opponents with the Spanish side having taken a lead early in the second half.
While Alex Telles equalized for the home side, the drama was left for the dying minutes of the game where Ronaldo struck to hand Ole Gunnar Solskjaer his first three points of the group.
Speaking to BT Sports after the game, the Portugal national team captain said: "This is why I come back. Because I missed this club a lot. I made history at this club and I want to do it again.
"I have to say thank you to all of them [the fans], not only for me but to push the team which will be very important, especially this season."
The goal means that Ronaldo has now scored five goals in five games since re-joining United in the summer with the club hoping that the streak can continue when they take on Everton in their next game.
