It's a Super Sunday set of fixtures on the horizon, and here are our best bets!
Spurs vs Aston Villa
It's been a bad couple of weeks for Tottenham. Things started so well with three wins from their opening three EPL assignments, but three consecutive defeats have followed, most recently a 3-1 reverse in the North London Derby. Aston Villa is looking to win consecutive league matches against Tottenham Hotspur for the first time since September 2008. Villa's Danny Ings has scored six goals in his last six appearances against Spurs in all competitions, including four in his last three against them.
TIP: Over 1.5 match goals
Liverpool vs Manchester City
Liverpool's imperious recent form was somewhat interrupted by a 3-3 draw at Brentford, a match which they led twice. That being said, they've scored exactly three goals in five of their last six matches across all competitions and are the only remaining unbeaten team in the Premier League. Manchester City won the corresponding fixture 4-1 last season, ending a run of 17 away league matches without a win at Liverpool (D5 L12). City has not won consecutive league matches at Anfield since January 1953.
Fiorentina vs Napoli
Napoli have sprinted to the top of the table in the early stages of the season, winning all six of their first games and conceding only two goals. Since 2016, Fiorentina has only won once at home against them in six encounters at the Artemio Franchi Stadium, and this one has all the makings of a memorable match. The hosts' major concern will be restraining Napoli's attacking abilities. Fiorentina has a hard time containing players and is regularly exposed.
Atalanta vs AC Milan
The visitors will be looking to rebound after a bad result earlier in the week, and with both teams playing on only three days' recovery, there may be some tired legs on the field. AC Milan has a fantastic away record in the league, they're considerably superior defensively, and they're a superb price to win or draw away versus Atalanta.
TIP: AC Milan won or Draw
