Serie A giants Juventus are interested in acquiring the services of Manchester United midfielder Donny van Deek in the winter transfer.
The Dutchman has failed to cement a place in the United team and expressed his frustrations last month in a Champions League game after he was snubbed amongst the substitutes.
Van de Beek only managed four Premier League starts last season and racked up lesser than 1500 minutes across the season. Not a lot has changed since then, as the Dutch international remains low in the pecking order.
According to Corriere Dello Sport via ESPN, Juventus might move for the player as early as January as they seek to give him a new lease of life.
The player wants to be part of the Netherlands team if they are to make it to the 2022 World Cup and wants assurance about his place in the United team before making a decision.
Dutch manager Louis van Gaal has already omitted the player twice in his call-ups and advised that he find a place where he can play consistently if he is to be part of his World Cup plans.
The likes of Paul Pogba, Bruno Fernandes, Scott McTominay, Nemanja Matic, and Fred have been preferred above De Beek in the midfield line, and it remains to be seen whether any of that will change in the near future.
