Manchester United defender Harry Maguire says he is progressing well after picking up a calf injury.
Maguire sustained a calf injury during United's game against Aston Villa in September that saw him miss the recent international break with England. The club captain has provided an update regarding his fitness progress.
"Yeah it’s getting there," Maguire told ManUnited.com on his recovery.
"I still haven’t trained yet with the squad, but I am getting better, I am progressing as I should be. It is obviously a frustrating injury for me to get, but I am progressing and I will be back on the pitch soon," he concluded.
The England international has been working hard on his rehabilitation at Carrington during the international break.
Manchester United confirm Raphael Varane will be out for a 'few weeks' with a groin injury. Harry Maguire is still out with a calf injury. Their next six games:— B/R Football (@brfootball) October 12, 2021
