Leicester City manager has made a decision over the possibility of joining Newcastle United.
Rodgers is among several managers who have been tipped to replace Steve Bruce as St James Park following the arrival of new owners who wants a change of fortunes in the club.
Although Bruce has not been sacked, a managerial change is expected at the club with Rodgers joined by Ranges’ boss Steven Gerrard, former Dortmund boss Luis Favre and former Chelsea manager Frank Lampard as the frontrunners for the seat.
The Telegraph's John Percy however reports that the Leicester City boss has ruled himself out of the job with the Northern Irishman understood to be enjoying life at the King Power Stadium.
Brendan Rodgers will not be leaving #lcfc for Newcastle if/when Steve Bruce is sacked. No interest in the job and fully committed to Leicester— John Percy (@JPercyTelegraph) October 13, 2021
