🦁 Premier League Matchweek 9: Six Saturday stats

Norwich is targeting an unlikely hat-trick of clean sheets while Crystal Palace will again look to turn the screw after the halftime break. 

Those are two of six facts to prep you for the Premier League this Saturday.

Chelsea vs Norwich

Norwich is looking to keep three consecutive Premier League clean sheets for the first time since November 2012. Then their third match was a 1-0 victory over the league leaders, Manchester United.

Crystal Palace vs Newcastle

Nine of Crystal Palace’s 10 Premier League goals this season have been scored in the second half, the highest ratio in the division. Meanwhile, no team have let in more PL goals after half-time than Newcastle United, with 11 this season.

Everton vs Watford

Everton has lost five of their last eight home Premier League matches against promoted sides, including against Leeds United and Fulham last season. 

Leeds vs Wolves

After winning only three league matches in a run of 25 at Leeds United, Wolves have triumphed in their last three at Elland Road without conceding. 

Southampton vs Burnley

The Clarets' average starting XI age in the Premier League of 29 years is the oldest in the league this season, while only Arsenal and Brentford have a younger average age among starters than Southampton's 25 years and 301 days.

Brighton vs Man City

Having lost their first seven Premier League matches against City by an aggregate score of 21-2, Brighton & Hove Albion came from 2-0 down to win 3-2 in their last meeting in the competition in May.
