Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku has revealed a surprising injury update, which has piqued Blues fans' interest ahead of a possible - but unlikely - comeback against Burnley this weekend in the Premier League.
Lukaku, 28, suffered an ankle injury in a 4-0 Champions League victory against Malmo at Stamford Bridge a few weeks ago.
The club-record signing was expected to return to training after the forthcoming international break, but it appears that the Red Devils marksman has made a quicker recovery ahead of Friday's training session.
He tweeted his update: 'Running today let’s see how that goes [followed by a battery emoji].

The Blues host Sean Dyche's Burnley side at Stamford Bridge this weekend, and when Thomas Tuchel speaks to the media, he is likely to provide an update on the striker's availability for this game and other subsequent matchups.
As things stand, it appears unlikely that the 28-year-old will contribute in any form, with the German boss understandably reluctant of rushing the £97.5 million.
