Serie A giants Napoli will be wearing a special jersey in tribute to Diego Maradona in the entire November.
Maradona who passed on last year is revered at Napoli after taking them to their only two top-flight titles to date.
As a tribute to their legend, the club players will wear the ‘Maradona game’ shirts for their three Serie A games during November against Verona (Sunday, November 7), Inter (November 21), and Lazio (November 28).
A statement from the club noted: "Calcio Napoli will remember Diego Armando Maradona with a celebratory uniform signed EA7, which the players will wear on the pitch during the three league matches in November: Napoli-Verona, Inter-Napoli, and Napoli-Lazio.
"One year after his death, Napoli thus honors the great champion, a symbol of an era and undisputed icon of world football, dedicating to him the Maradona Game, the specially created special jersey."
Apart from Napoli, the Argentine who died in November last year at the age of 60 featured for Argentinos Juniors, Boca Juniors, Barcelona, Sevilla, and Newell’s Old Boys
