Manchester United youngster Mason Greenwood is one of the most expensive players under the age of 21.
The 20-year-old has been one of United's best performers and has been preferred in the starting team over summer arrival Jadon Sancho where he has already four Premier League goals this season.
His outing has seen his stock rise over the years with the online transfer source TransferRoom stating that the Englishman is valued at €59.8 million or £50.4 million; this making him the third most expensive Englishman on the list.
Topping the list is Barcelona’s 18-year-old starlet, Pedri, who has amassed a value of €71.1 million (£60 million) having become a crucial player for both club and country. Greenwood's countrymates Jude Bellingham and Bukayo Saka are the players above the United player with the duo valued at €60 million and €61.3 million respectively.
TransferRoom uses a formula that works out a player's expected transfer value (xTV) and takes into account a number of factors that include the player’s age, current level, perceived potential, current club, and even their agent.
Greenwood was one of 20 young stars named on the shortlist for the prestigious 2021 European Golden Boy with the winner set to be announced on the 13th of December at an event in Turin.
