πŸ‡ΏπŸ‡¦πŸ† Top 5 PSL coaches with the most league titles

Only 10 coaches have tasted the sweet success of lifting the Premier Soccer League since it was rebranded in 1996. Otherwise, four master coaches have dominated Mzansi.

Ted Dumitru, Gordon Igesund, Gavin Hunt, and Pitso Mosimane are the masters of winning the league in South African football. The quadruple have an extraordinary 17 titles between.

Additionally, each man had won four titles before Mosimane stepped into a new ground level and iconic status. A black coach from the dusty streets of Kagiso in Gauteng,  known as "Jingles" became the first coach to lift five league titles in the land.

The legendary Gordon Igesund was the first to claim gold with a modest Manning Rangers squad in 1996/97. The Romanian great, Ted Dumitru, took over the history books with four titles with Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs respectively.

Dumitru’s era later made way for a certain Gavin Hunt and later Pitso Mosimane.
