FC Barcelona’s defender Oscar has revealed that the team had lost a connection with former coach Ronald Koeman.
As Futaa reported, Koeman was sacked in October after delivering only four wins from their first 10 LaLiga games this season.
Mingueza has told the public that the time for change has become necessary and inevitable.
"There was no atmosphere. Players were not happy. And when you're not well and things don't turn out, you need a change," the defender told Esport3.
"The team stopped trusting [Koeman's methods] and everyone tried to fix things on their own. We weren't good, neither individually nor collectively.
"When the dynamics aren't good, everyone does what they can but we lacked self-belief,” the 22-year-old Spaniard concluded.
Coming up next for Xavi’s men is UEFA Champions League action against Portuguese giants Benfica.
