The numbers behind Thomas Tuchel's first 50 matches in charge of Chelsea

Chelsea booked a place in the knockout phase of the Champions League courtesy of 4-0 demolition of Juventus in Tuesday night's clash at Stamford Bridge.

It was an act of perfect revenge for the London club, who lost 1-0 in the reverse fixture in Turin.

A first-half goal by Trevor Chalobah on his full Champions League debut put the defending champions on course to the big win, with Reece James, Callum Hudson-Odoi, and Timo Werner scoring in the second period.

It was a special night for their German manager, who marked his 50th game in charge of the Blues.

Tuchel arrived at the London club in January, replacing fan favourite Frank Lampard with the team placed ninth at the time.

He however led them to Champions League glory, as well as a place in the FA Cup final, where they lost to Leicester.

A strong finish also saw them finish in the top-four in the Premier League.

Here are some numbers behind the German's impressive start to life at Stamford Bridge.

    • Matches played - 50
    • Wins - 35
    • Draws - 8
    • Losses - 7
    • Goals scored - 81
    • Goals conceded - 24

How did other top managers perform in their opening 50 matches?
