The UEFA Champions League Round of 16 draw has produced exciting clashes worth looking forward to.
Arguably the pick of the draw will be the heavyweight clash between Paris Saint Germain and Real Madrid.
The Los Blancos had earlier or drawn Benfica, but will now have to face the French giants, who are considered favourites at the start of every season.
Manchester United will face Spanish side Atletico Madrid, with Liverpool handed a tricky tie as they face Italian champions, Inter Milan.
Defending champions Chelsea were once again drawn against French club LOSC Lille, whom they drew in the earlier draw.
So, who are the winners and losers of the draw?
Chelsea - winners
The defending champions would not have asked for a better draw. They lost their top spot on the last day after drawing 3-3 against Zenit St. Petersburg as Juventus won the group with a 1-0 win over Malmo.
Thomas Tuchel will be feeling confident facing Lille, who are currently 11th in the French Ligue 1 standings.
Manchester City- Winners
Pep Guardiola's side are firing on all cylinders in the Premier League and have been equally lethal in Europe.
They qualified top of their group that also had PSG, and will be feeling confident going into the knockout phase.
They have drawn Benfica, who proved they are no pushovers with assured performances against Barcelona, whom they beat 3-0 in Portugal.
But Man City are a different animal, and Benfica will go into the match as underdogs.
Real Madrid - Losers
The record champions league holders seem to be hitting some good form under Carlo Ancelotti, who has them playing well once again.
Led by Karim Benzema and Viniciius Jr, the Los Blancos aim to reclaim their spot at the table of kings, and could have preferred anyone else other than PSG, who have former Barcelona stars Lionel Messi and Neymar in their corner.
It will be one of the clashes not to miss in the knockout phase as.
Inter Milan - Losers
Inter have progressed well in the last few weeks both at home and in Europe.
They have however been drawn against one of the most lethal teams in Europe in Liverpool.
Jurgen Klopp's side have been in imperious form this season, managing to keep a 100% record in the competition.
They are also flying high in the Premier League, and remain one of the favourites to lift the crown this season.
Manchester United - Losers
Manchester United have been drawn against a team hungry for the Champions League crown, Atletico Madrid.
The Spaniards qualified for the knockout phase in dramatic fashion on the last day of the group stage but will be a tough nut crack for Ralf Rangnick's side, who have struggled in recent weeks.
Atleti have faced an English club in the knockout phase in the last two seasons, knocking out Liverpool during the 2019/2020 season before Chelsea beat them on their way to the 2020/21 crown.
United however have Mr Champions League in their corner, who as proved this season already, will have a big say in the tie.
