Arsenal duo Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe are closing in on Manchester United legends Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo's Premier League record.
Saka and Smith Rowe have been two of Arsenal's standout performers thus far this season, with manager Mikel Arteta placing a greater emphasis on youth as he seeks to rebuild the Gunners into an English football force.
Saka, 20, assisted Smith Rowe, 21, to score their second goal against West Ham United in midweek, securing three points that vaulted them into the top four.
The assist was the duo's sixth in the Premier League, falling just two short of a Premier League record.
Only Ronaldo and Rooney have assisted each other more frequently in Premier League history, with the Man United duo doing so eight times.
Saka and Smith Rowe will look to add to that total during Saturday's Premier League clash with Leeds United, and the duo has the remainder of the season to break Rooney and Ronaldo's record, as Rowe will turn 22 on July 28.
Saka has three goals and four assists in all competitions this season, while Smith Rowe has seven goals and two assists.
