Arsenal have reportedly made a fresh bid for Fiorentina hot-shot Dusan Vlahovic.
The Gunners are hoping to do business during the January transfer window, and have lodged a £55m offer plus Lucas Torreira.
The Serbian international has emerged as one of Europe's top targets in recent months and could be allowed to leave during the January window if a good offer is tabled.
The 21-year-old has netted 18 times in just 21 games for the Florence-based side this season to attract attention from Europe's top clubs.
Arsenal's London rivals Tottenham Hotspur have also been credited with interest.
Speaking to Politika early this week, the youngster however insisted he is keen on staying in Italy to help his side qualify for Europe next season.
"I have stated this several times so far. A beautiful football story is being made here in Florence.
"We have a good team, great football players, great support from the fans. It all deserves respect.
"Only God knows what will happen in the next period. My wish is to bring Fiorentina to Europe, because we have not been in Europe for a long time.
Manchester City and Juventus have also been mentioned among the top teams monitoring the Serbian.
