Tottenham coach Antonio Conte is confident goalkeeper Hugo Lloris will sign a contract extension with the north London side.
Lloris is out of contract in the summer but Conte is hopeful the goalkeeper will extend his current deal.
Conte is keen for the Frenchman to extend his stay at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and says talks are underway between the parties.
"He knows very well Tottenham," said the Spurs head coach.
"He loves this shirt and this badge. For me, he is an important player and I'm sure that they are going to find a solution for him to continue to play with Tottenham. I am very confident about this situation to be positive."
"I think and I repeat because I am not the person that speaks to renew the contract with the players. There is the club and the people that do this. But for sure I am very confident about this situation to be positive."
Hugo signed for Spurs from Lyon in 20212 and is now available to sign a pre-contract with foreign clubs.
