It seems like AFCON 2021 is getting so much more love than any other edition we’ve ever seen. The latest inspiration has come from Chelsea star Antonio Rudiger.
In case you may have not known, Rudiger was born in Berling Germany but his mother, Lily is from Africa’s Sierra Leone.
It was therefore no surprise to see the leading English Premier League central defender celebrate passionately after the Leone Stars claimed a famous 0-0 draw against African champions Algeria on Tuesday.
The 28-year-old took to social media to post himself waving Sierra Leone’s flag with a beaming smile.
