A new Ghanaian is set to have a new home address in South Africa. Habib Mohammed is expected to sign for DStv Premiership side Sekhukhune United.
According to the reports, the 24-year-old defender arrived in the country last week before reaching an agreement to sign a three-year deal with the PSL newcomers.
A source told local media that the former Asante Kotoko and Dreams FC star is planned to feature for the club next season.
“A deal has been agreed to between the player and Sekhukhune United although the club has exhausted its foreign quota and my understanding is that this defender is part of the plans for next season for the team,” a source told Soccer Laduma.
Meanwhile, local football action will be back on the weekend of 4-5 February with the Nedbank Cup last 32 round.
