Ancelotti: Real Madrid couldn't handle Mbappe

Carlo Ancelotti has admitted Kylian Mbappe is unstoppable after the Frenchman scored a late winner in PSG's 1-0 victory over Real Madrid.

Mbappe is fast and creative and caused lots of trouble to Madrid's defence with his pace on the flanks. Madrid marked the 23-year-old well but he produced brilliance in the stoppage time to help PSG beat the Los Blancos 1-0 in the first leg of the Champions League last 16 ties.

Lionel Messi saw his penalty saved by Thibaut Courtois but Neymar, who has been on the sidelines was introduced later on to assist Mbappe to grab the important goal that separated the two teams ahead of the return leg at Santiago Bernabeu.

"Mbappe is unstoppable," admitted Ancelotti after the game.

"We tried to control him. [Eder] Militao did very well. But he can always invent something from nothing and did so at the very last minute."

Madrid will host PSG next month at the Santiago Bernabeu for the return leg.
