🚨Nigeria 1-1 Ghana: Black Stars to make fourth World Cup appearance

Ghana will be making a fourth appearance in the FIFA World Cup following their 1-1 draw with Nigeria on Tuesday night.

Ghana came into the game knowing that an away goal is all they needed to make it book a place in Qatar later this year following a goalless stalemate at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Friday, March 25.

The visitors took the lead after just ten minutes through Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey but that lead was canceled eleven minutes later by Trrost Ekong via a penalty spot much to the delight of the home fans.

Victor Osimhen thought he had given the hosts a lead after he found the back of the net in the 34th minute but the goal was ruled out for offside after consultation with the VAR; both teams heading into the halftime break with no one getting the better of the other.

Ghana made three changes at half-time and also changed from 4-3-3 to 3-5-2. This gave them greater midfield control, able to protect their defense and move the ball forward with something approximating aggression and they were able to hold the hosts until the final whistle
