Manchester City have apparently entered the hunt to recruit midfielder Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund.
The 18-year-old has adapted well to life in the Bundesliga, scoring six goals and providing 13 assists in 38 appearances across all competitions this season.
Bellingham's form is believed to have piqued the curiosity of Liverpool, Manchester United, and Real Madrid, however, Dortmund are in a great position to play hardball with his contract not expiring until 2025.
Now, Bild journalist Sebastian Kolsberger believes that Manchester City have joined the increasing list of teams interested in signing the adolescent, despite the possibility that he will remain in the Bundesliga for "a few years."
"Jude is one of the future stars of the midfield, and all clubs want him. I think after a few years in Germany he will return to England. Liverpool and Manchester City also want to sign him," Kolsberger told the publication, as quoted by the Manchester Evening News.
Dortmund are reportedly demanding £84 million for Bellingham, with Liverpool and Real Madrid expected to make bids in the summer of 2023.
