Alexandre Lacazette has revealed that he is considering a summer move away from Arsenal.
The striker has struggled with Mikel Arteta's side this season, scoring only four Premier League goals.
The Frenchman is in the final three months of his contract at the Emirates Stadium, which means he might leave on a free transfer at the end of the current campaign, as is the case with fellow center-forward Eddie Nketiah.
Now, the 30-year-old has stated that he is in negotiations with a number of teams, hinting that he is set to leave the Gunners in the near future.
Speaking to Canal Plus, he said: “I am in discussions with a lot of clubs. I am open."
He added: “I have never cut contact with Lyon since I left. I try to return to the club once or twice a year to see the medical staff because we are really close. Lyon knows that I am free, they have come to the information.“
“It’s a bit more complicated", Lacazette replied when asked If he would return to his former club even if they drop out of Europe.
“I want to play in Europe, it’s been a long time since I played in the Champions League, I’m missing it. It’s a little more complicated, nothing is impossible in life, but it’s a little more complicated.”
Les Gones have experienced a terrible 2021/22 campaign, now lying eighth in the league standings with just six games remaining, after thrashing Bordeaux 6-1 on Sunday in Ligue 1.
