Barcelona target Lewandowski opens up about his future

Robert Lewandowski has admitted that his future at Bayern Munich isn't 'easy for him' following the club's Bundesliga title win on Saturday.

The Polish has strongly been linked with a move to Barcelona and while there are reports that he wants to stay in Germany, there have been reports that his agent is looking for a better deal from clubs in Europe.

Asked about his future by replied Patrick Strasser after the game, the striker said: “There will be a meeting soon, but nothing special has happened so far. I also notice what’s going on. The situation is not that easy for me.”

The 33 year old is expected to meet the Bayern hierarchy and reports indicate that any deal would hinge on whether they are willing to meet his long-term contract demand.

Barça president Joan Laporta certainly seems hopeful of getting the deal over the line in the summer as they look to find a striker for the club in revamping their attack next season.

Lewandowski was among the scorers as Bayern beat arch-rivals Borussia Dortmund 3-1 to clinch the Bundesliga title on Saturday. The result meant that Die Roten has now opened up an unassailable 12-point gap at the top with three games left.
