William Luwagga Kizito will not have a chance to play London giants, Arsenal FC, in the knockout rounds of the UEFA Europa League after his loan spell at Bate Borisov ended.

The midfielder was named on the team’s line up on several occasions including against Chelsea but did nt get any playtime.

The Belarusian giants decided against extending his stay at the club and opted to return him to his parent club, Fotbal Club Politehnica Iași, in Romania.

“Upon expiration of the lease agreement with BATE FC, forward Luwaga Kizito leaves the “yellow-blue” and returns to the Romanian “Polytechnic” from Iasi his parent club,” the club stated.

Failed to score

According to the club, Luwagga only played three league gamesand one in the cup but failed to meet the targets set for him.

“Recall that the Ugandan footballer joined the team of Alexei Baga in the middle of August-2018, played 4 matches, and did not score points on the “goal plus pass” system (championship - 3, National Cup - 1). We thank Kizito for the time spent in our club and wish you success in your future career!”
