CAF CC: Noah, Innocent Wafula absent as Vipers name team to face Tunisians
Both Innocent and Noah Wafula will not be available when Vipers take on CS Sfaxien in the second leg of a CAF Confederations Cup playoff.
The two were not named in the 25-man contigent that is travelling to the Magreb nation on Friday aboard Turkish Airlines flight to Istanbul before connecting to Tunis.
Coach Michael Ouma and his assistant Edward Golola named their team on Thursday after their final training.
The match will be played on Sunday 20th January at the Tareb Mhiri stadium. The first leg ended 0-0.
The coaches picked two goalkeepers, five defenders, six midfielders and four strikers for the duty.
Team captain Tadeo Lwanga returns to the folds after missing the last fixture due to injury.
However, the Venoms will miss left back Yayo Lutimba who is suspended and goalkeeper Bashir Sekagya who is still injured.
