Jurgen Klopp speaks on signing Barcelona forward
Following a disappointing spell at Barcelona for far, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has ruled out the possibility of reuniting with Phillipe Coutinho.
Coutinho has been rumored to be looking for an exit out of Barcelona and has been linked with Manchester United in the recent past. Reports have also suggested that Coutinho is keen on a move back to Liverpool where he had a highly successful stint. The Brazilian joined Barcelona for an English Premier League transfer sale record which stands at £142 million.
When asked about the rumors ahead of the Crystal Palace clash, Klopp ruled out the move, “That is something I don't want to talk about. I would not say it is a potential transfer or a likely one. Nothing to say. Whatever I say would open more stories and there is no story. Phil is at Barcelona and as I know he fits really well and everything is fine.”
