Sponsors of Asante Kotoko, Paradise Pac Mineral Water, have promised to keep a close eye on any companies who will look to capitalise on the CAF Confederation Cup game against Zesco United.
In what will be the biggest football event in Ghana this year, Kotoko will host Zesco on Wednesday in Kumasi.
"We are sending a message of caution or warning to any other water producing company in the country that they should not come to Baba Yara to sell water, said Paradise Pac’s spokesperson Samuel Anim Addo to Ghana Soccer Net.
"I am using our sponsorship with Kotoko to send this message. All club administrators should rally behind Kotoko and help them to win. Apart from winning, we should also help them to maximise.
"As we normalise football, we can bring it back with the right structures and right form. Football can bring a lot of social developments to our country,” he concluded.
