Onduparaka will play host to Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) Football Club at the Green Light Stadium in Arua on Tuesday, February 12.
Currently, fifth on the Uganda Premier League log, URA with 28 points visit Onduparaka who are sixth with 26 points.
Onduparaka managed a goal-less home with Kirinya-Jinja S.S in their immediate past game, URA fell at Namboole stadium 1-0 to lowly Maroon's courtesy of Brian Majwega’s well-converted kick from the penalty mark.
With Sam Ssimbwa back on the team technical bench, URA will make quick amends as they look forward a positive result away from home.
Former Onduparaka players Vitalis Tabu and goalkeeper Nafian Alionzi (both at URA) will come face to face with their former club.
The other West Nile based player on the tax collectors’ side is former Paidha Black Angels captain Cromwel Rwothomio, who was captured in the January 2019 window.
The rest of the URA players who made the trip to Arua include goalkeeper James Alitho, Hudu Mulikyi, Yeseri Waibi, Benjamin Nyakoojo, Patrick Mbowa, Peter Lwasa, Saidi Kyeyune, Moses Sseruyidde, Charles Ssempa, Allan Mugalu, Abdallah Nyanzi, Ronald Musana, Ronald Kigongo, Joackim Ojeera, Mathew Tayo Odongo, Robert Omunuk and team skipper Shafiq Kagimu.
Onduparaka with Leo Adraa and Simeon Masaba on the technical bench have also a wide pool of players to choose from.
Goalkeeper Nicholas Ssebwato is expected to command a starting slot in between the goal posts ahead of Richard Anyama.
Captain Rashid ‘Mertasacker’ Toha will, as usual, look to provide the leadership at the back.
Fred Agandu, Rashid Okocha, Richard Ayiko, Hassan Muhamood and Faizul Ibrahim are all defensive options.
Abel Eturude, the bow-legged Gadaffi Gadinho, Solomon Okwalinga and Ramex Kasozi will very for the midfield positions as Viane Sekajugo, the age-less Samson Ceaser Okhuti and youngster Ezra Bida are handed with the mantle to seek for the goals.
Maximum points for either side will be crucial to close the gap on the leading pack that has KCCA, Vipers and Mbarara City.
