BREAKING: Kariobangi Sharks on the verge of signing of Tanzanian forward

15 Feb 2019, 11:15

Reigning Shield Cup champions Kariobangi Sharks are on the verge of signing Tanzanian forward Athanas Mdamu from Singida United with the deal set to be finalized by Monday next week.

Mdamu will bolster the Sharks striking department joining Eric Kapaito, Syndey Lokale, George Abege and Finlay Osoro and is viewed as a direct replacement to the departed Ebrima Saneh. Kariobangi Sharks chairman Mr. Robert Maoga, confirmed the deal is imminent with only the final paperwork left, "It is true that we are close to finalizing the deal with Singida United over the signing of Mdamu as they have already released him but we are yet to complete the signing, I believe by Monday everything will be done."
