Ghanaian defender Christopher Avevor has officially extended his stay with Bundesliga II side St. Pauli.
The 27-year-old signed a two-year contract extension which will see him stay with the club until the summer of 2021.
Avevor'sold contract was set to expire this summer but following his reportedly impressive displays, St. Pauli rewarded him with a new deal.
Avevor has featured 22 times for the club this campaign as St. Pauli pushes for a return to the top flight.
Christopher Avevor previously played for Fortuna Dusseldorf and Hannover 96 in the Bundesliga II.
Despite being born in Germany, he is yet to make a senior appearance for his country of birth or that of his parents.
