Juve boss: Ajax are not a joke

Juve boss: Ajax are not a joke

15 Mar 2019, 11:50

Juventus director Pavel Nedved is neither happy nor sad after the Champions League quarter-final draw.

A Cristiano Ronaldo masterpiece secured Juventus a spot in the Champions League quarter-finals. Now the Italian champions are going head to head with Ajax, who eliminated Real Madrid in the round of 16.

I'm neither happy nor sad. Ajax eliminated Madrid so they are no joke. I liked them a lot against Madrid so we will have to be very careful. We will have to face Ajax with great commitment: I expect two great games, said Juventus director Pavel Nedved to uefa.com.

Juventus will start away from home. If they are to go through to the semi-finals Tottenham or Manchester City will be their opponents.
