It’s the final group B game as Horoya host Pirates for what is a do or die battle for a quarter-final place. Placed on position two behind the already qualified Esperance, the Guineans need at least a draw, while the visiting South Africans need no less than all three points.

The Buccaneers coach, Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic could not avoid admitting that it will be a game in which he has to win.

Pirates’ situation is a result of their own doing after dropping points at home against Horoya (0-0) as well as a 2-2 with group minnows FC Platinum of Zimbabwe.

“Now we are going without a calculator and we know what we need – there are no buts, ifs or maybes because it is a must-win," Micho told Kick Off.

“As an optimist, a person that believes, a convenor and a coach of this big club, with respect to the history of the badge and millions of supporters, we need to be extremely positive and believe.

“There’s a special trust, confidence, and belief in our work we do and that we have what it takes to give our best there and to win,” the Serb concluded.
