Sane, Kroos, Rudiger named in Germany squad

15 Mar 2019, 14:55

Germany head coach Joachim Low has named his 23 man squad that will play against Serbia in a friendly match before taking on Netherlands for the 2020 EURO Qualifier.

Low did not include Jerome Boateng, Mats Hummels and Thomas Muller after declaring publicly the trio's services are no longer needed. Julian Draxler and Mario Gotze were not included, while many new faces dot the roster for Germany. It truly looks to be a new era for Die Mannschaft. Notably, Manchester City's Leroy Sane, who wasn't among the team during the 2018 World Cup has received a call-up.
