Free Stars Stars coach Nikola Kavazović has declared Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane as well as Orlando Pirates’ Milutin Sredojevic as the best coaches in Africa.
The 43-year-old Kavazović, who arrived in Mzansi this season at Free State Stars, made his way to the Absa Premiership after his success with Township Rollers in Botswana.
Kavazović feels that the current PSL title is either going to Mamelodi or Orlando because of the quality of the men in charge at those clubs.
“I can see that those two teams are so much better than others and they are led by the best African coaches. They know what they are doing‚" Kavazović said to Times Live.
“I admire Pitso because he is willing to take huge risks and he always win.
Kavazović, who's also led Kenyan giants AC Leopards, mentioned former Al Ahly French coach Patrice Carteron as a close contender.
“From my point of view‚ Milutin Sredojevic and Pitso Mosimane are the two best coaches in Africa‚ and they don’t have any competition – maybe [former TP Mazembe and Al Ahly coach] Patrice Carteron is close to them‚ but the rest of us are just people who need to watch and learn,” concluded the Serb.
Meanwhile, Mosimane will be on duty this evening as Sundowns welcome SuperSport United in a league clash.
