Arsenal will be given a lower budget if the miss out on Champions League the coming season.
The Gunners boss Unai Emery will be given a budget of just £40m in the summer transfer window if they fail to make it to the Champions League. The north London side has a chance of booking a spot in the UCL should they beat Chelsea in the finals of Europa League on May 29th.
BBC Sport reporter David Ornstein has revealed Emery will receive a large windfall to strengthen his squad ahead of next season. However, defeat to the Blues and the Spaniard will have to make do with a 'significantly smaller' sum, ruling out any marquee signings unless other players are first sold.
The club has identified the likes of Marcos Llorente, Eric Bailly, Nicolas Pepe and Ayoze Perez as it tries to challenge for the title next season.
