Pep Guardiola sends message to Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp after title win

After pipping him to the English Premier League title, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola sent a message of thanks to Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp.

City claimed the league after one of the most thrilling title races in recent history, as they had to wait till the final day to secure the league after a 4-1 win over Brighton and Hove Albion. Liverpool missed out on the title by a single point and suffered only a single defeat with came at the hands of Manchester City. Guardiola also bagged the League Managers Association Premier League Manager of the Year award.

Speaking after receiving the award, Guardiola sent a message to Klopp after a heated title race that went down to the wire, "I want to share it with my players because they are the artists, to my staff because we fought a lot and especially for the all the managers in the Premier League, especially Jurgen Klopp. He was an incredible contender to face until the end."
