Sevilla release travelling team to Tanzania

La Liga side Sevilla FC has released the team that left Spain for Tanzania on Tuesday for their friendly clash against Tanzania side Simba SC.

According to information on the club's website, the team that will be up against Simba SC on Thursday will miss the services of Wöber, Rog, Carriço, Gonalons and André Silva due to medical reasons, like Sarabia, who has not recovered from his viral process.

Gabriel Mercado was also not included in the travelling team after claiming he is set to join the Argentina national team who are gearing for the COPA America Tournament in June although the club has refuted the claims.

In addition, the club said there are players who have travelled with the team and have the same national team commitments and Mercado miss will be treated as disrespect to his teammates.

The club promised that they will investigate the matter and open a disciplinary file for his refusal to travel with the team.

Vaclík, Juan Soriano, Sergi Gómez, Kjaer, Gnagnon, Jesus Navas, Aleix Vidal, Escudero, Arana, Amadou, Roque Mesa, Banega, Franco Vazquez, Nolito, Promes, Bryan, Ben Yedder and Munir.
