Kenyan Premier League giants Gor Mahia has confirmed that they have received an offer from Angolan giants Petro Atletico for striker Jacques Tuyisenge.

Confirming the new development to Futaa was the club chairman Mr Ambrose Rachier who said a meeting to come up with a decision (on whether to accept the bid or not) is to take place anytime from now.

“We have accepted nothing yet but they (Petro Atletico) have sent an official request. We still have to gauge it and we have a meeting on the same and you should have a concrete answer on the same soon,” Rachier said.

It is believed Petro has tabled a bid believed to be around $150000 for the Rwandese striker who should be out of contract next season.

Tuyisenge has been a subject of a move in recent months with DR Congo’s AS Vita among clubs he has been linked with.

Apart from Tuyisenge, the club is said to be expecting a few departures with midfielder Francis Kahata and captain Harun Shakava some of the names that have been linked with moves; Kahata said to be on his way to Tanzania with Simba with Shakava linked with a series of Zambian clubs.

Tuyisenge arrived at the club in 2016 from Rwandese side Police FC.
