Kaizer Chiefs legend Knowledge Musona says the Zimbabwe national team is enriched by the Absa Premiership.

Musona, who is set to lead The Warriors to a straight AFCON tournament this month, believes that his nation owes its quality to Mzansi.

“I believe it is the strongest league in Africa‚” Musona said to Times Live.

“It develops players from Zimbabwe and gives them the opportunity to showcase themselves in Africa. Some of them are in clubs that are playing in the Champions League.

"With us qualifying and topping a group that included DR Congo‚ and playing with the players from South Africa‚ it shows the PSL is a strong league with quality,” added the man nicknamed the Smiling Assassin.

Despite a tough season for Lokoren in Belgium this season (two goals & two assists in 16), Musona earned his move to Germany and later Belgium after 40 goals and 14 assists in 88 games for Amakhosi.
