At a time when many think Nigerian striker, Brown Ideye has ended his football career, the 30-year-old has joined a new club.

Ideye, who has been without a club since the 2017/2018 season, linked up with Greek Super League side Aris on a one-year deal.

He last featured for Spanish outfit Malaga.

This will be the second time he will be playing for a club in the Greek top flight having previously starred for Olympiacos across two seasons and scored 28 goals in 65 appearances.

The former Nigeria Super Eagles player will hope to revitalize his career at the Kleanthis Vikelidis Stadium after spending the entire 2018-19 season without a club.

Ideye will be aiming to help Aris qualify for next season’s Uefa Europa League group stage after their fifth-place finish in the 2018-19 league campaign.

The Yellow and Blacks have been scheduled to play Cypriot outfit AEL in a double-header qualifying fixture for the European tournament later in July.
