A few of the continent’s heavyweights are yet to seal last 16 qualification. Ghana, Cameroon, and Tunisia all need at least a point… but of course we expect them to come out aggressively for three points.

Angola and Mali also clash meet needing that precious point to join this year’s best 16 nations in Africa.

Benin vs Cameroon (18:00)

Can Benin upset defending champions Cameroon?

A 2-0 win over Guinea-Bissau to start AFCON 2019 was spoilt by a goalless draw with Ghana. The result, therefore, leaves The Indomitable Lions are uncertain of last 16 entry. A draw may be enough against a Benin side that pulled a 2-2 draw with Ghana.

Guinea-Bissau vs Ghana (18:00)

Ghana looking for a first tournament win

For a team that has come to Egypt to chase the title, two successive draws (2-2 with Benin and 0-0 with Cameroon) has been far from ideal if not poor. Thus James Appiah’s Ghana are demanded to make themselves properly felt in this tournament - and that is tonight with a strong win performance rather than limping through with a draw.

Angola vs Mali (21:00)

Do Mali have enough quality to break a defensive Angola?

East Africa’s Angola have two draws to show and face Mali needing a win. Mali only need a point but every team comes out of the tunnel with the motivation to win the game. Expect Mali to be hungry for a powerful, quick and dominating performance to inspire their nation.

Mauritania vs Tunisia (21:00)

Will Tunisia be too strong for minnows Mauritania?

Tunisia head into Tuesday's clash with tournament debutants Mauritania in need of a victory to ensure their progression to the last 16. Mauritania only have a wild-card chance to advance after losing 4-1 and drawing 0-0 with Angola. Their ranking and goal’s ratio only offers a miracle chance to qualify as one of the four third-placed teams.
