The Football Kenya Federation Women Premier League is set to resume this weekend for the second leg after a month of rest.
The rest period, according to FKF, was to allow teams in the top division to bolster their ranks as they look to improve on their first leg outings.
The league in the first leg was faced with a series of walkovers due to the financial constraints with different stakeholders calling for a solution to be found to help aid the participating teams.
This comes at a time when Kenya is slated to participate in the 2020 Olympic Qualifiers come September.
