Ahead of the African Cup of Nations third-place playoffs, Nigerian forward Alex Iwobi is seeking to end the tournament on a high with a win against Tunisia.
Nigeria suffered elimination at the hands of Algeria in the semi-finals after a 95th-minute winner from Manchester City winger Riyadh Mahrez. Tunisia, on the other hand, were sent packing by Senegal after they scored an own goal in extra-time which saw the Lions of Teranga book a place in the final.
Speaking in a press conference ahead of the clash on Wednesday, Iwobi was looking to end the tournament on a winning note, "There is still one more game to play, we'll like to go on a high and we'll like to go out with a win. Even though we lost the semifinal, of course it hurts, there is no better place to put it right than in the third/fourth place play-off, so hopefully we can use our anger to try and win that game."
The game is slated for a 10 PM (EAT) kick-off at the Al Salam Stadium.
