Liverpool has been urged to acquire the services of unwanted Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale by former Manchester United legend Paul Ince.
Bale who is being linked with a move to China because there has been little interest from the Premier League, due largely to his £350,000-a-week wages is set for another season on the periphery should Madrid not find a suitor.
However, Ince who once played for Liverpool thinks his former club should move for the Welsh forward should they have money to do so.
Speaking to BBC Radio 5 live Ince said: “For me if Liverpool could afford him, he should go to Liverpool. If you look at the front three, they have played all summer so how much rest are they going to get before the season starts?
“Bale can play on the right, he can play left and he can play centre. They have got Origi and Shaqiri but are they good enough?
“It can't be about money for Bale, he needs to go to a team who can win things - the European champions, the team that finished second in the Premier League.'
