Mapeza resumes Platinum duties

FC Platinum gaffer Norman Mapeza is healthy to return and take charge of his defending champions squad.

The club has confirmed that Mapeza has bounced back after a bout of illness to be part of the team as they take on Malawi’s Nyasa Big Bullets in a CAF Champions League qualifier this weekend.

The club’s spokesperson Chido Chizondo verified that Mapeza is back and raring to go.

“We are happy he is back and in good health as we prepare for the match against Nyasa Big Bullets at the weekend,” Chizondo said via Newsday.

Mapeza’s Platinum will host the return fixtures at Mandava Stadium next weekend. Success will set up the next qualifier against winner between Simba FC of Tanzania or Uniao Desportiva do Songo of Mozambique.
