Kasim Nuhu joins Fortuna Dusseldorf from rivals Hoffenheim

Ghana international defender Kasim Nuhu has reportedly joined Fortuna Dusseldorf on a loan deal from rivals Hoffenheim according to Ghanasoccernet.

Nuhu who was part of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations tournament with the Black Stars penned a one-year deal with the side after agreeing to personal terms.

The 24-year-old will be reuniting with Lutz Pfannenstiel who is the new Sporting Director of Fortuna Dusseldorf having had a working relationship at Hoffenheim.

Dusseldorf have been very active in the summer transfer window and the trend has been signing Ghanaian players who include Kelvin Ofori, Nana Ampomah, and Bernard Tetkpetey - Nuhu being fourth to be added to Bundesliga side's books. 

The Black Stars defender is reportedly the third player of Ghanaian descent to play for Hoffenheim with Isaac Vorsah and Prince Tagoe having plied their trade there before. 

Nuhu has been three international goals to his name and has been capped 11 times by Ghana upon making his debut for his native back in October 2017.
